01 Founders' Story

We built Plasmole for the researchers we know: people who care deeply about their work, often with too little time, funding or support. In conversations with labs, we kept hearing that they’d tried new software, but it hadn’t stuck—it didn’t fit how they actually worked. Advances in AI gave us an opportunity to change that. Our mission is to make the work in and around research easier, so scientists can focus on the questions that matter.

02 Our approach

How we build.

Commitment 1

Listen closely. Stay involved.

Feedback isn’t something we collect once. We want to understand what’s working, what’s frustrating, and what needs to change as researchers use Plasmole.

Commitment 2

Make the difficult things feel simple.

Scientific work is complex. We put effort into the details so the software feels clear, approachable and useful—even when what’s underneath is complicated.

Commitment 3

Be honest about what we know.

We value clear evidence, visible limitations and the willingness to correct mistakes. Confidence should come from work that can be checked.
