A complete data trail from day one.

Plasmole records who designed each construct, what changed in each version, and which experiments and results used it.

The trail builds itself: each version, who saved it, and what used it.

From starting sequence to final construct, in one place.

Work by hand, with AI, or both. The trail is the same either way.

Translate, align and codon-optimize for your host.

Catch long single-base runs, repeats and GC extremes before you order synthesis.

Gibson, Golden Gate or restriction cloning, checked on a simulated gel.

Tm, hairpins and primer dimers, worked out before the oligos ship.

Share the construct with your CRO, then align their Sanger reads to the design.

01 Provenance

A record you can stand behind.

  1. 01

Every version says who and when.

Changes the AI made are labelled as the AI's, not as a person's.

  2. 02

A saved notebook version can't be rewritten.

Not by a user, an admin or us.

  3. 03

Every record is linked both ways.

Every entry points to the construct, protocol and gel behind it, and they point back.

02 Diligence

Ready when someone asks how it was made.

When you file a patent or a regulatory submission, the record of how each construct was made is already written down.

Your work stays yours

No model training on it, open export formats and a public subprocessor list. Security overview

What isn't done yet

A SOC 2 Type I audit is in progress, and there is no report yet.

03 Questions
How long does setup take?

Create a team workspace, invite the team and import your files. Team workspaces are on paid plans.

Can we share work with our CROs?

Yes. Send a construct, notebook entry or workflow as a link and revoke it when the work is done. When their Sanger reads come back, align them to the design.

When do SSO and a SOC 2 report arrive?

Your team can sign in with Google today. Company single sign-on (SAML and OIDC, through your own identity provider) is on our 2026–2027 roadmap. A SOC 2 Type I audit is in progress; until the report exists, we answer security questionnaires under NDA.

How is this different from enterprise lab platforms?

Enterprise platforms are built for large R&D organizations and usually start with an implementation project. Plasmole puts design tools, the notebook and the agent in one workspace a small team can start using without a services project.
