Do we have to replace our order system?
No. Plasmole works beside it. Files in: SnapGene, GenBank, FASTA, CSV and AB1. Files out: plate CSV, GenBank and PDF.
Do our customers need an account?
Not to read a shared entry. Yes to comment, or to open a shared construct.
Is Plasmole validated for 21 CFR Part 11 or GLP work?
No. Plasmole is built for non-GxP discovery work such as cloning, construct design and CRISPR screens. A Part 11 readiness assessment is available on request.
How do we hand work back to the customer?
Entries export as PDF, Word or Markdown, plasmids as GenBank, FASTA, SBOL or ApE, one at a time or as a ZIP. Or share a revocable link to a construct, entry or workflow.
How do we switch?
Your library comes in as files: SnapGene, GenBank, FASTA, SBOL and ApE, a folder at a time. Start with the next request; studies already running stay where they are until they're handed back.
What happens to a customer's data when the contract ends?
Deleted items go to a restorable trash, and you can erase them from there for good. When you ask us to erase a customer's data, it's gone from every copy, backups included, within 30 days.
